Participating in Farm to Family Montana (F2F) makes eating local food easy. No more hunting for local food products at the grocery store, or making multiple stops for locally-produced food.There are no long-term commitments or membership fees at F2F. Simply order your staple food items online and pick them up at your front door. You do not need to menu plan-just order what your family consistently eats each week and voila--breakfast, lunch and dinner staples are at your fingertips!

It’s Local and Sustainable
As Wendel Berry said, "Eating is an Agricultural Act". By using your consumer power and choosing local food you are supporting your local economy, reducing environmental impacts, preserving farmland in Montana and choosing fresher foods.

Your participation in F2F supports the local food system which reduces transportation costs, emissions, packaging, and the use of pesticides and fertilizers. Eating food from local sources builds understanding and knowledge around farming and food and its source. Participating in F2F reduces your own transportation costs and emissions while putting your money right back into dozens of local businesses and farmers in our region. In addition F2F is working with ClearSky Climate Solutions to offset our own carbon footprint. We are also a member of the Sustainable Business Council.

In Montana's growing season we are able to offer more local food products. When its cold in Montana we have to go a little further into our region to meet your food needs. Approximately 80% of our producers are from Montana. The other 20% are regional including Oregon, Colorado, and Alaska.

It's Affordable
You will find F2F prices to be comparable with other food stores in Missoula. Often, our prices are less. The price of our food reflects the true costs of what it takes to grow and produce it, plus a fair profit for those who cultivate the earth and create original recipes from Montana grown products. Local food is not always cheaper than far away food but there are not hidden environmental costs in our food or embedded government subsidies. We charge a $5 delivery fee so that we, too, can make a living in our wonderful little city.
